Youth Workshop

Spend the day at DEMBE Theatre and explore prop and set design as we imagine, design, make and decorate. 

Help us to decorate the foyer of the theatre for Tring Youth Theatre Project’s half term production of Fantastic Mr Fox.

We will be transforming the foyer into Mr Fox’s underground den and the bar area into a woodland picnic scene.

Come and get hands on and arty as we explore set and prop making using characters and themes from Roald Dahls wonderful story, using recycled materials, and a big dollop of imagination.

This workshop is aimed at children and young people aged 6+ to attend independently.

This workshop will guide you through the design and creation process, giving you the tools and the techniques to create intricate props and piece of set, working with fabric and textiles, and working collaboratively to dress and light the space.

Workshop attendees will receive a code for discounted tickets to see the production.
